General notes for the Media & audiovisual sector. They do not replace the organiser’s exhibitor manual.
Media and AV fairs are built around live demonstrations. Screens, audio and lighting rigs need power, network and rigging points, so apply to the venue early for power capacity and hanging points and confirm the sound-level limits. The equipment is numerous and valuable: ship it itemised with serial numbers and arrange secure storage on site.
Visitors at gamescom dev 2026 are broadcasters, system integrators and content producers, and technical demos alternate with partnership talks. An interpreter who knows AV vocabulary keeps explanations accurate. Stand staff should be able to operate the setup and explain use cases; light catering is enough. The organiser’s exhibitor manual is the binding reference.
